SECTION purpose
Purposes of the Labor & Employment Law Section
- To develop and encourage the practice of the highest standards of conduct for attorneys in the State of Hawai'i and particularly among attorneys in the practice of Labor and Employment Law within the State;
- To aid and assist the Section's members in the performance of their legal duties in Labor and Employment Law;
- To provide a forum for the exchange of experiences and ideas through discussion, study, and publication;
- To monitor and report upon developments in federal and state employment laws for educational purposes;
- To take such action necessary and proper to accomplish the purposes of the Section as expressed in these Bylaws and in the Articles and Bylaws of the Hawai'i State Bar Association.
