Summary:
Large Language Models such as ChatGPT, Bard/Gemini, Copilot, and others have caused a storm of development, discussion, hype, litigation, investigation, testimony before Congress, executive orders, SEC action, initial regulations, and also present many ethical issues for attorneys who fail to understand them.  This seminar presents an overview of the issues with LLMs, including: the perils for lawyers who do not embrace technology, an overview of current AI tools and their capabilities, risks and weaknesses, and a look also at the promise and disruptions they increasingly present for the legal world.
