The Bar Card is a photo ID which confirms HSBA membership. Attorneys with photos on their cards will be allowed to use it for State court and corrections facilities identification. State courts allow the use of electronic devices by HSBA members seated in the gallery, if the photo card is visibly displayed (RSCH 5.3.(b)(2)). In addition, the Bar Card may be used at the Supreme Court Law Library to borrow materials, and to confirm eligibility to receive discounts from numerous benefit providers (restaurants, clothing stores, exercise facilities, entertainment including discount movie tickets, office products, travel and much more!). *The Bar Card can only be issued to members in good standing.
