In 2015, the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure underwent significant amendments aimed at realizing the goal of “secur[ing] the just, speedy, and inexpensive determination of every action and proceeding.” In the nearly two years since these amendments took effect, they have already had a substantial impact on litigation and, in particular, discovery in federal cases.
Join us for a discussion about these important amendments, including best practices for litigating under this new regime, and the ways in which the amendments further the dichotomy between federal and state practice.
