This presentation is intended to provide an overview and updates on special needs planning considerations for Hawaii. This will include descriptions of different special needs trusts, and alternatives, an overview of key public benefit programs, and a review of important program rules and case law that impact the unique practice of special needs planning.

With a unique background in Gerontology and Public Health, Scott has dedicated his career to serving the needs of seniors, persons with disabilities, caregivers and families in the State of Hawaii.
