On Saturday January 21, 2017, over 5 million people in over 600 cities worldwide took to the streets in solidarity with the Women’s March on Washington. Thousands of them were right here in Hawai`i.
The Women’s March was an example of advocacy that can be used to protect women’s rights and the rights of marginalized peoples.
Join our speakers Cathy Betts and Khara Jabola to discuss the importance of the Women’s March, intersectionality, and the ways in which we can all take action to build a women’s movement in Hawaii.
Cathy Betts, Executive Director of the Hawaii State Commission on the Status of Women
Khara Jabola, Public Affairs Director of Strategies 360
