It is no secret that Hawaii’s dependence on oil threatens the sustainability of our economy and the future of our environment. Initiatives around the State are charting new paths towards an energy-independent future for Hawai`i, bringing together business leaders, policy makers, and concerned citizens. Join us to discuss the various initiatives being led around the State, the status of the Hawai`i Clean Energy Initiative, and how the federal and state governments will play a role in our energy future.
HECO’s Darcy Endo-Omoto, Vice President, Government and Community Relations, Hawaiian Electric Company
Veronica Rocha, Renewable Energy Program Manager, Hawaii State Energy Office
Leslie Cole Brooks, Executive Director, Distributed Energy Resources Council
