Summary:
Every lawyer knows that you can't misappropriate or commingle client funds, but so few lawyers know how to avoid doing it. This CLE is designed to help small firms and solo practitioners more fully understand their trust accounting obligations, while learning how to avoid some of the most common trust accounting mistakes.

Speakers:
Ryan Little, Assistant Disciplinary Counsel at the Hawai'i Office of Disciplinary Counsel

Ryan Little has served as an Assistant Disciplinary Counsel at the Office of Disciplinary Counsel since 2018. Since joining ODC, Ryan has been inspired by Hawai?i-licensed attorneys’ general desire to conduct themselves ethically. Understanding how stressful it is to receive an ODC letter, Ryan is excited to assist with this CLE – after all, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. When not at work, Ryan is likely spending time with his wife at the beach, a pau hana, or both.
