Legal Lines is YLD’s year-around project where volunteer attorneys answer phone calls from the community, every Wednesday from 6:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m., to provide legal information. Thank you to Cades Schutte LLP for sponsoring the month of March, and Hawaiian Electric Company for sponsoring the month of April. We appreciate all the entities that volunteer to sponsor either a few weeks or a month of legal lines throughout the year. We are always looking for volunteers to staff the lines, including firms or organizations to sponsor. YLD is happy to announce that Law Week this year will be from May 19 through May 25, 2024. During law week, volunteer attorneys provide free legal information to members of the public in-person at clinics and through telephone hotlines. The Law Week Committee is hard at work securing in-person locations to host legal clinics across the State. YLD will need volunteers for both legal lines hotlines and in-person clinics.
