The Trial Academy is the HSBA’s biennial two-day, hands-on, interactive trial practice program:
Each participant conducts major components of a full trial from opening, through direct and cross examination, and closing. The case will be provided in advance for preparation. Brainstorming sessions will be scheduled to help you prepare your case.
Receive feedback and coaching from experienced faculty who are successful litigators as well as effective instructors and mentors. Individual video evaluation will be utilized to coach students on effective presentation.
Acquire effective and common sense courtroom skills that will help you in your everyday practice.
