This presentation will address the origins of Admiralty and Maritime Law, how those rules of law were incorporated into the laws of the United States of America and what the practice of Admiralty and Maritime Law looks like in 2018.
Juliette B. McCullough, partner at Cox Wootton Lerner Griffin & Hansen, LLP.
Ms. Juliette B. McCullough is a partner at Cox Wootton Lerner Griffin & Hansen, LLP. Ms. McCullough’s work is focused on maritime litigation and maritime commercial transactions. She has extensive experience litigating Jones Act claims and broad navigation experience which makes her especially qualified to handle collision/allision matters. She regularly advises charter and sailing companies and has a detailed understanding of the small passenger vessel industry.
Ms. McCullough earned her J.D. degree from U.C. Hastings College of the Law in 2011 and graduated cum laude. Ms. McCullough graduated from Wellesley College magna cum laude in 2004 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies.
Ms. McCullough is an Able Seaman with a sailing endorsement and has worked as a watch officer on 300-ton, U.S. Coast Guard inspected sailing vessels. She has substantial blue and brown water sailing experience.
