Summary:
This seminar will provide an hour ethics credit and cover issues in the news lately: what practitioners should be considering as generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT) seep into the legal world, including the implications of using AI tools in providing legal services, a construct for analyzing risks and benefits of AI tools, and an update on current or brewing litigation regarding AI.

Glenn T. Melchinger, Esq. is Counsel at Dentons’ Honolulu Office and Chair of the HSBA Technology Committee. He has litigated issues related to technology and the law for over twenty years, and for over a decade he has taught on technology issues in the law, e-discovery, and other topics at the HSBA, Thinktech, and elsewhere.

Glenn represents clients in complex commercial disputes, products liability matters and advises on cybersecurity, e-discovery, and helps Japanese clients with a host of US legal issues with the broad bench of support at Dentons, a global law firm.
