Lisa K. Y. Nakahara is an associate at Kobayashi, Sugita & Goda, a graduate of University of California—Hastings College of the Law and member of the California and Hawaii bars.  She has participated as a YLD Director 2006 and 2007; 2006 Co-Chair and 2007 Chair of the Professionals for Drug Free Kids; 2008 Co-Chair for Junior Judges; Volunteer for the Holoholo walking tour for the ABA Annual Convention; and participated in the Annual Fall Convention for the ABA Young Lawyers Division in 2006.  Ms. Nakahara has enjoyed working with the YLD for the past three years. She believes the YLD provides valuable opportunities for the legal profession to give back to the Hawaii community through its legal and non-legal pro bono services and activities and feels that it would be a great privilege to serve as Vice President for 2009 and to continue the great work of the YLD.
