JAPAN UPDATE
An Important Message from President Louise K.Y. Ing:
HSBA Members: In light of the events that surround Japan, the April 17-19, 2011 HSBA-DITBA Friendship Trip in Tokyo will be postponed. Our program planners put a great deal of thought into this decision and feel that it is important that we support our colleagues in Japan at this time and not weigh heavy on them with conference demands. Once new dates have been confirmed, we will let you know. At present, next month's Inter-Pacific Bar Association Annual Meeting and Conference will still be hosted, so please continue to work directly with them if you intend to travel for that meeting. Lastly, if you wish to reach out and help in the relief efforts in Japan, please contact our local Red Cross or the Aloha for Japan Fund.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Louise K.Y. Ing
HSBA President
