The HSBA and the Neighbor Island Bar Associations; the Hawaii State EOA; the ABA Commission on Law and Aging; the UH Elder Law Project; the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii; and the National Legal Training Project are sponsoring statewide training sessions for attorneys who service or who may be called to service individuals with dementia or memory loss. This one day seminar will train attorneys to recognize the signs of dementia and identify how to work with clients or witnesses affected by dementia. The training will be conducted by David Godfrey, Daniel Marson, and local elder law experts on each island.
